Professional interests:

Dr. Peppercorn devoted the last three decades to establishing Sutter North Advanced Dermatology and Laser Center as a widely respected full service state-of-the-art university quality department. He was the first dermatologist in the Sacramento Valley to use lasers for cosmetic skin rejuvenation in 1982. His main interests are the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer as well as CO2 laser skin rejuvenation. Prior work experience includes working as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Stanford Medical School.

Community activities:

He has served on the board of directors of a local school district, local bank, the American Cancer Society, the United Way, the Rideout Memorial Hospital Foundation, and the Yuba-Sutter-Colusa County Medical Society. He has also been honored with awards from the Yuba-Sutter Fair Junior Livestock Auction and the Yuba City Council as an Outstanding Citizen. He also wrote, produced, and hosted a local medical education TV show for more than 23 years.

Personal interests:

Spending time with his wife and daughter is his number one priority. He also enjoys movies and TV, computers, photography, traveling and skiing. He is an avid follower of U.S. history and current events and is ready to actively discuss politics, if asked.
